First Post

Well well well, look who's finally posting on their blog. We are! Haha! Jeff and I have almost been married for a year now (anniversary is September 23rd!), so I figured it was time to start writing in the blog. Better late than never, right?

Anyway, right now there's not much to write. I need to go pick up Jeff from work in about 10 minutes. But I just wanted to get started, 'cause I'm super excited to start writing again! I can't even tell you. I'm still getting the layout thing worked out, but I'll just have to keep practicing with it.

Ok I do have to tell you a funny story on the first blog post, to keep you guys interested and wanting to come back haha. So we only have one car, and Jeff does the driving most of the time (which I LOVE). So when we're driving around, I'm not used to turning the car off and taking the keys with me. Yeah.

So, about a month and a half ago, I was at my mom's house, and I had just pulled into the driveway. I was so excited because Nicole Boulter and I were about to go to dinner before picking Jeff up for work. So I got out of the car, locked the doors, and shut the door. It took me about 1.3 seconds to realize that I'd left the car running, and just locked myself out of the car. WHAT?!?! So I freaked out, cried, and just thought I was so stupid; we don't have a spare key, so I was doomed. Jeff, of course, was super sweet and told me that everything was ok and to call a locksmith. So, $50 and half an hour later, I was back in the car.

Well, last night I had a dream that I locked the keys in the car again. I laughed when I woke up and didn't really think anything of it. So I drove to my mom's house, and picked up Annie and her friend from the temple. I took them to Gandalfo's for lunch, and then decided to go to Joanne's to see if they had any cute things there. So I got out of the car, locked the doors, and shut the door. Yup, you guessed it. The car was still running. The feeling of doom swept over me. But then, I remembered, Annie's friend Reagan and never been in my car before, so luckily she didn't lock her door. I was able to get the car keys out without calling a locksmith. Winner!

Anyway, I really need to go pick up Jeff, but I just wanted to share that story. I actually haven't told him I almost locked the keys in the car while it was running again, so that will be fun haha. My goal is to post one a week, so I'll be writing again soon. See you all later!
